We serve two different types of bubble tea. One is based on milk tea and the other on fruit tea.
The bubble teas are available for “take out” in 3dl and 4.5 dl.
Bubble Tea
While the tea drink is known as bubble tea in Europe, it has several names. So it is also called Boba, Boba Tea oder Pearl Milk Tea. Despite several names, it has one common origin – and that was in Taiwan in the 1980s. However, with one difference: while today it is mainly the colourful balls that make up bubble tea, the original drink contained no pearls and consisted only of sweetened tea in combination with fruit syrup or milk.
To have a say 🙂
By the way, the drink is not called bubble tea because of the colourful balls. During preparation, the tea is mixed with milk and ice cubes and shaken until a foam forms – and these bubbles give bubble tea its name.
